Hardero Formulation - A Transparent Ingredient Breakdown
Every ingredient included for a recognised nutritional reason. EFSA structure/function roles explained.
Zinc - Men's Reproductive Health Foundation
Zinc is one of the most thoroughly studied minerals in men's wellness. As a zinc supplement for men's reproductive health NZ, it contributes to normal testosterone levels in the blood, normal fertility and reproduction, and the maintenance of normal immune function - all recognised by EFSA under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. Hardero provides 150% of the NRV per daily dose.
Selenium - Spermatogenesis and Antioxidant Defence
Selenium and vitamin E for men's health form a complementary antioxidant pair. EFSA recognises that selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis, maintenance of normal thyroid function, and protection of cells from oxidative stress. The 100% NRV dose in Hardero sits within the safe upper level established by EFSA.
Vitamin E - Cellular Protection
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress - a role particularly relevant to men over 50, when oxidative stress accumulates with age. Hardero provides 133% NRV of Vitamin E (as alpha-tocopherol), within established safe levels.
Lycopene - Antioxidant Carotenoid
Lycopene is a carotenoid found naturally in tomatoes and other red-pigmented produce. As a lycopene supplement antioxidant for men, it has attracted growing interest in men's wellness research. While EFSA has not authorised a specific health claim for lycopene alone, it contributes to the overall antioxidant profile of the Hardero formulation.
Pumpkin Seed Extract
Pumpkin seed extract has been traditionally used as part of everyday wellness routines for men. Rich in plant-based fatty acids, phytosterols, and minerals, pumpkin seed features prominently in men's wellness supplement traditions across many cultures. Hardero uses a standardised extract.
Food supplement. Not a medicine. The above EFSA claims apply to the specific nutrients at the stated NRV percentages. Hardero is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Consult your GP if you have health concerns.
